The last day of my trip in New Zealand was spent on my own. I thought about doing another tour or adventure activity but ultimately decided against it. Instead I took in the views one last time and thought about the next chapter in the book of me.
Overall I know I’m very fortunate and thankful to live the way I do. But I have to admit that the roller coaster of 2012 seemed to go down more than it went up when it came to anything running related. In athletics and life there were things I did well and things I did poorly. My hope is to learn and grow from those experiences and make 2013 the best year it can be.
I don’t really have a specific resolution. I hope to strive to be a better person every day and not just in January. I also hope that this year I am healthy enough to run a lot more and beat myself up a little less than I did last year.
More pictures and trip stuff coming….
That sonds like a great way to start the new year off. Best of luck and God bless.
